Soft Futures: Digital Imaging Technologies, Community of Practice, And the Potential for Solidarity.
As an interdisciplinary design studio, softwork seeks to explore, expand, and interrogate notions of power across social and artistic practices, design, film, architecture and in the image-world. This talk will explore contemporary politics of digital imaging technologies, sustainable futures, and what the future of work, community and solidarity looks like as our interaction with forms of automation quickens.
