talk topic

Aubergines, Talking Genitals and the Oldest Women in the World

In this talk I will present specific processes that have led to the creation of my more personal work and the development of my directorial voice. From spinning Aubergines and talking genitals to the oldest women in the world I hope to take on a journey through research, reflection and nurturing that mysterious creative spark when it comes. I will also touch on the balancing act of working in a commercial way to support your more self-initiated projects and the realities of working in the creative industry today. I hope my honesty will inspire and uplift and make creatives in the audience feel like they are less alone in their struggles.
