Cup'inn

Fancy a sweet touch to brighten your afternoon? Forget about your diet and head straight for this cupcake bar in the pedestrian area. Loads of attracting flavours: whipped cream, litchi, bounty, chocolate, salted butter caramel, … You’ll have to chose which one you prefer to go with your homemade lemonade. The two chefs are regularly updating the menu with surprising novelties. They also serve breakfast and lunch.

Limoni

Planchas, bruschettas, tapas, pastas… The choice is difficult in this small mediterranean restaurant of the pedestrian area but all the dishes are worth it. You can taste the best Italy and Spain have to offer in one meal! The plates are appetizing, full of savours and quite abundant. Very good service and reasonable bill. Count between 15 to 20 € for a board of fine meat, mozzarella, tortilla, tapenades, delicious pastas… We advise you to book in advance.

This Japanese restaurant is the best in Namur proposing extra fresh sushis, exquisite sashimis and surprising tempuras. Not so fond of raw fish? Le Temps des Cerises

A typical “cuisine du terroir” restaurant, a tiny place with a lovely warm atmosphere which is definitely a contrast from the neighborhood’s brasseries. Sit down and look around, discover the tribute to the local celebrities and other curiosities proudly exhibited by the owner. Sweetbread with morels or oven roasted knuckle of ham grated with mustard sauce, let yourself be tempted by a tasty traditional dish.

Sanga

The team’s favourite one : the ramen’s palace (amen), to consume with closed eyes (except that opening them is more practical). A true gustatory and affordable journey. Whether you choose chicken, pork or duck and its miso or paitan in broth, you’ll probably go back anyway.

Brasserie François

Best brasserie of Namur, chic atmosphere “à la française” to pronounce with the accent of Namur (not quite the same 😉 It’s a safe bet to taste classical brasserie dishes served by waiters dressed in smart costumes. The high ceilings, decorative moldings and chandeliers will make you forget where you are the time of a meal. The place is also a good location for a drink in the evening.

Chez Gaby

The place to be for the real belgian fries! Crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Try out the “mitraillette” if you dare or the fries with “sauce riche”, pretty heavy shit! You might bump into the owner’s son carrying a basin full of potatoes just peeled by his mother. Authentic “fritkot” Gaby is one of the last ones to cut their own potatoes by hand!

Bistro Bisou

Bistro Bisou is a “trendy” and “modern” brasserie. We see a small organic restaurant, probably influenced by the former owners of the place. There are simple dishes, inspired by the traditional bistro, made with quality ingredients and from the region. If you are in a hurry, remember to report it, here the chef also takes the time to kiss during the shooting…

L'huile sur le feu

Located just in front of the Market, the Oil on the Fire showcases the flavours of the Mediterranean. Penne, tagliatelle, ravioli, orechiettes… all pasta is fresh. If you prefer meat or fish, you can also find your happiness there. A small corner of blue sky in the grayness of autumn…
