Le cercle vide
("The empty circle") Nothing really survives here.
The bottom is so deep that no light ever gets in. Very few boats pass through, and there's no telling when the water will fall.
This experimental documentary portrays a space object and its fall into the darkness of a space graveyard; a female scientist reveals her attachment to the object and the absence of images documenting this mysterious place. A reverse sci-fi journey, this essay mixes real and fictional archives to guide us to the outskirts of an invisible place.
